SXSW 2008
February 29th, 2008
I’m happy to announce the selection of The Book of Lenny for this year’s South By Southwest Film Festival. Every year, SXSW brings hordes of filmmakers, musicians, and technologists to Austin for an electrifying week of performances, screenings, and discussion panels. I look forward to attending as much as possible.
More info about the short film, including screening times, can be found here.
The Book of Lenny
October 9th, 2007
For the past month, I have been a part of The Book of Lenny, a narrative short film conceived by artist Jonathan Marshall. It is the beginning chapter of a heroic journey set after a storm of unprecedented magnitude nearly destroys human civilization. The production took us to Matagorda Bay, TX, where we were thoroughly challenged by tough river currents and surprise auto failures. However, we’ve overcome and are excited about the film’s near completion and exhibition on October 20th.
Rededication
June 29th, 2007

Much is happening. I am now working for a new company, punching buttons, compressing commercials and videos, and sending them away for broadcast. I’ve learned a lot in the first month, and this is only the beginning. I’ll have to elaborate later about the job though; this is more about a return to posting new materials here. Often.
Today is the first day of SXSW’s Click Festival, and a music video for one of my musical projects, Mediums, is a finalist. I used 8mm footage of a very nice couple’s trip through the Swiss Alps during the 1970’s. Watching their film in a tiny, dark room, I was immediately taken with it’s subtlety and timelessness. The images seem to naturally complement this piece of music, and I found it best to keep things simple. Please visit the site, watch the video for ‘Not Until Now’, and vote for it if you feel so inclined.
